Man accused of home invasion in Lyman


An Upstate man is behind bars on charges of a home invasion in Spartanburg County. 

Allic Andro Singleton, 43, of Fountain Inn has been charged with armed robbery, first-degree burglary, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and larceny, according to jail records.

The victim told deputies a man forced his way into her home on Lyman Lodge Road on Tuesday morning.

According to a report, the suspect was wearing a bandana and entered the home through a sliding door. 

The victim said he demanded drugs and hit her in the back with what she thought was a BB gun, choked her and stole her cell phone before leaving in a SUV.

The victim’s hand and leg were reportedly injured in a struggle with the suspect. 

She was treated by first responders.

Singleton remains in the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
