A Cherokee County man was arrested after leading deputies and Blacksburg Police Officers on a chase early Friday morning.
Deputies say they tried to approach a suspicious vehicle that was parked at a business on Highway 5 in Blacksburg when he took off.
Deputies and officers continued to chase the vehicle until he crashed on I-85 North Bound at mile marker 106.
Deputies say after the man crashed he tried to back up, hitting a Blacksburg Police car.
Richard Moss was was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder, Failing to Stop for a Blue Light, DUI, and several other charges.
No one was injured.
