Man arrested in connection to stabbing in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Greenville County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested a man in connection to a stabbing that happened Thursday night at a home in the 500 block of Edgemont Avenue.

According to the sheriff’s office, Henry Flores-Guevara, 21, was arrested Friday.

Deputies said that Flores-Guevara and the male victim knew each other and had got into an altercation before Flores-Guevara took out a knife and stabbed him multiple times. 

Authorities were made aware of the stabbing at about 9:40 p.m. Thursday.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for serious, non-life threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office. 

Flores-Guevara has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. He was taken to the Greenville County Detention Center, where he has been waiting for a bond hearing.
