OCONEE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office made another arrest in their drug sweep round-up, “Operation Infinity.”
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Samuel Kevin Neale, 33, of both West Union, SC and New Port Richey, Fla., was arrested and charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine.
Neale was taken to the Oconee County Detention Center from Pasco County, Fla. Sheriff’s Office.
According to the release, Neale also had three general sessions bench warrants, and he was served with those warrants as well.
Sheriff’s office officials said Neale remains in the detention center. He was given a $30,000 bond on the drug charges and will be required to wear electronic monitoring as a condition of bond upon his release.
The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate and are still seeking individuals wanted as part of the round-up.
According to the release, the drug round-up began on June 4, and 21 people were sought as part of the operation on a variety of drug charges involving methamphetamine, heroin and prescription drugs, as well as unlawful neglect of a child charges and attempting to purchase pseudoephedrine above the legal limit.
Neale’s arrest brings the total arrested to 16.
