GREENVILLE CO., SC (WSPA) – Troopers have charged a man in connection with a deadly hit-and-run along White Horse Road that happened Saturday morning.
The S.C. Highway Patrol says 45-year-old Andrew Grant Whetstone II has been charged with leaving the scene resulting in death, possession of a stolen vehicle, and traveling left of center.
Whetstone was the driver of a Cadillac that crossed the center line and struck another vehicle.
The driver of that vehicle, 32-year-old Dianna Lisett Deleon, died at the scene of the crash.
Troopers say Whetstone ran from the scene.
As of Monday, Whetstone is in the Greenville County Detention Center without bond.
