Man dead after shooting at Simpsonville home, deputies say

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Deputies are investigating after a man was found dead in a home after a reported shooting near Simpsonville.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office was called to Reedy Acres Drive just off of Fork Shoals Road for a shooting victim.

22-year-old Kendall Brown of Simpsonville was found in his home in the 100 block of Reedy Acres Drive in Simpsonville, according to the coroner’s office.

The coroner’s office said Brown had at least one wound and died Saturday at about 11:15 p.m.

His death is being considered a homicide, according to the coroner’s office. 

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office are investigating his death.
