SPARTANBURG Co., S.C. (WSPA) – South Carolina Highway Patrol said a man was charged following a multi-vehicle crash in Boiling Springs Friday morning.

Highway Patrol officials said a 2014 Chevrolet SUV was traveling south on Boiling Springs Road and a 2016 Kia and a 2002 Toyota SUV were both turning left from Birds Eye View onto Boiling Springs Road.

The Chevrolet SUV then reportedly hit the Kia on the right side of the vehicle, causing the Kia to overturn and collide with the Toyota.

The crash happened around 7:15 a.m.

According to highway patrol, the driver of the Chevrolet and the driver and juvenile passenger of the Kia were injured in the crash, and were all taken to Spartanburg Regional Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The driver and passenger in the Toyota were not injured in the crash.

The driver of the Chevrolet — identified as Michael Eugene Kelley, II, 29, of Spartanburg — was arrested and charged with two counts of felony DUI and driving under suspension.
