Man injured in car during shooting in Greenville

Greenville Police say a man in a car was injured when he was caught in the crossfire of a shootout in downtown, Thursday afternoon.

Investigators believe people in two cars were shooting at each other in the neighborhood around 1pm in the area of Butler Avenue and Pinckney Street.

The victim has been taken to the hospital with injuries from broken glass.

Police are still looking for witnesses on Butler Avenue at the time of the shooting.
