HENDERSON COUNTY, NC (WSPA) – North Carolina State Highway Patrol officials confirmed a man died in a crash on Dana Road early Wednesday morning.
According to a NC State Highway Patrol Master Trooper Murico Stephens, the single-vehicle crash happened at around 12:15 a.m.
Stephens said a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Miguel Delgado Flores, 34, of Hendersonville, was traveling along Dana Road when it went off the road and overturned.
Flores was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and was killed in the crash.
Stephens said that troopers suspect speed and alcohol use to be factors in the crash.
