ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA) – A man was sentenced after shooting two of neighbors, according to a report from Buncombe Co. District Attorney’s Office.

Victor Aguirre Soto, 52, of Asheville pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of attempted first degree murder.

He was sentence to 157 – 201 months.

The report said Soto shot two of his neighbors at a mobile home park on Rock Hill Rd. in South Asheville around 1 p.m. on September 7, 2015.

A man was shot several times – including once to the head.

The man’s wife was shot once in the arm. Investigators say the incident grew from a conflict between neighbors.
