(WSPA) — An Atlanta man has started a GoFundMe campaign to pay for an engagement ring that costs $15,000.

30-year-old William Oliver says using the website to pay for his engagement ring is “innovated.” And according to Mashable, he was inspired after his girlfriend bought him 30 gifts for his 30th birthday.

The account has received some backlash on social media and has only raised $600.
