ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – The Anderson County Criminal Investigations Division said man, deemed as one of the county’s Most Wanted after he reportedly broke into 47 vehicles, was arrested Wednesday.
According to a sheriff’s office news relase, investigators learned on March 17 that a suspect had broken into 47 vehicles, and that the majority of the vehicles broken into had been parking on Jackson Street in Anderson.
Detectives identified Kris M. Banks as the suspect in the case and, through evidence, obtained 47 arrest warrants charging him with breaking into a motor vehicle.
The warrants were then given to the fugitive investigations unit to be served.
Sheriff Chad McBride deemed Banks as one of the county’s Most Wanted on April 9.
Banks was arrested and booked into the Anderson County Detention Center on Wednesday.
