CLINTON, SC (WSPA) – A man with meth is accused of shooting a van with a woman inside, according to Clinton Police.
The victim told police that Tristian Lamont Grant, 31, shot her car while she was at a house on N Bells St.
The victim said Grant asked her to bring him cigarettes.
When she got there, she went to a shed behind the home where he was staying
She said she went in the shed and Grant became paranoid, asked what she was doing and what did she steal.
She told deputies that she didn’t feel safe so she started to leave.
Grant started following her with a large gun and shot into the air, according to the victim.
The victim says she got in a van and started to drive off when Grant fired into the van and broke two windows.
Police say they found shot pellets inside the van.
Officers arrested Grant and searched the house.
They found a 12 gauge shotgun and white powder they think is meth, according to the report.
Police say they also found 3 hydrocodone pills, scales and a glass smoking pipe.
Grant is charged with:
Attempted Murder – 2 counts
Discharging Firearms into a dwelling
Poss. Weapon during violent crime
Distribution etc. of Methamphetamine, 3rd
Distribute, sell, manufacturing or PWID of Cont.
Possession of Narcotic in Schedule I(B),(C), LSD &
