Mauldin K-9 reunites toddler with family

Mauldin Police Department say they helped find a 20-month-old child wandering a neighborhood find the way home.

They say they couldn’t locate the parents so Corporal Pendergrass and K-9 Alex used the child’s shirt as a scene and back tracked to the toddler’s home.

Mauldin Police Department posted, “A resident snapped this photo tonight after they found a 20 month old child wandering the neighborhood and could not locate the parents. Corporal Pendergrass and K-9 Alex used the child’s shirt as a scent article and conducted a back track to the child’s home, reuniting the child with the family. Good job everybody!!!
