Two men are accused of damaging several mailboxes on Holly Springs Church Rd., according to Spartanburg Co. deputies.
Deputies says they spoke to one of the victims who said he was sitting outside as a green Ford Ranger came down the street. He says he heard someone say “It’s a trio.” The report say he heard the suspect hit his mail box.
He was able to catch up to the truck at the end of Holly Springs Church Rd. and get the license plate. He said it appeared to be two teen boys in the truck.
Several other mailboxes on the street were also damaged with a baseball bat.
19-year-old Matthew Sloan Weaver and 19-year-old Brennon Chase Exum are both charged with 11 counts of Malicious Injury to Personal Property =< $2,000, according to the detention center.
