Middle School of Pacolet asks for donations to help hurricane survivors

Many local schools are helping to raise funds and donations for survivors of hurricane, Florence.

One Spartanburg County School District in particular is turning the effort into a friendly competition.
In District 3 the students are collecting non-perishable items. Students bring in items like hand sanitizer, tissues, paper towels, canned foods, milk, baby wipes, towels, combs.

Teachers keep boxes in their rooms to collect items brought in by students and the class collecting the highest number of individual items will earn a party.
Middle School of Pacolet will collect donations through the 5th and you can bring them in to the front office during school hours.
They have also challenged some of their rival schools to do the same.

The school address is 850 Sunny Acres Rd, Pacolet, SC 29372
