Missing 2-year-old girl found safe in Wilmington, Asheville Police say

UPDATE: Asheville Police Department officials said a 2-year-old girl reported as missing has been safely located in Wilmington, N.C.


ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA) – Asheville Police are asking for your help to find missing child Mierra Arrington.

She is described as a 2-year-old black female.

She was last seen by her mother in May of 2018 and was reported missing to police on October 3.

Police think she is in the custody of Sereta Renee Smith and Obadiah Jabbar.

They think they are in the Wilmington, NC area.

Smith is described as a 40-year-old black female, 40 years old, 5’0″ and 115 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Jabbar is described as a black male, 33 years old. 5’10” and 172 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
