Missing Carolina Behavioral Health patient found safe

UPDATE: Greenville County Sheriff’s Office officials said Reed Kennedy has been located and is safe.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Greenville County deputies need help finding a Carolina Behavioral Health patient who walked out of the facility Wednesday afternoon. 

Deputies said Reed Kennedy, 31, was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and red socks. He was not wearing any shoes. 

Kennedy has brown hair and hazel eyes, according to the sheriff’s office. 

Lt. Ryan Flood said on Thursday that Kennedy is of no danger to the community.

Flood said the case has since been forwarded to the sheriff’s office’s missing person investigators.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact the sheriff’s office immediately.
