Missing, endangered child in Anderson Co. found safe

UPDATE: Anderson County Sheriff’s Office officials said a 9-year-old was found safe after he was reported as missing Tuesday night.


ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a missing endangered boy.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, deputies are searching for a 9-year-old in the area of Destination Boulevard near Fuddruckers in Anderson.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, camouflage boots and a light blue “Tony Hawk” long-sleeved shirt.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 864-260-4400 immediately.
