Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a missing 92-year-old man from the Whitney area.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies are searching for Blanding Brown, who lives on Webb Drive off of US-221 near Interstate 85.
Blanding is 6’2″ tall and weighs 220 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes, according to deputies.
Brown reportedly took his truck — a 2006 Chevrolet two-door dark blue long bed truck with Shriners emblems on the back and a front license plate that says “I’d Rather be Fishing” — but left his cell phone at his house.
A Facebook post from the family said Brown had been missing for several hours on Monday.
Browning tag number on his truck is: 50619W.
Spartanburg County deputies say Brown was spotted at the Circle K on John B. White Sr. Boulevard around 7:15pm asking for directions to Whitney.
