Missing teen with autism has been FOUND in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE CO., S.C. (WSPA) — The missing autistic teen who went missing on Saturday has been found and is safe, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.

The teen was last seen with a group of peers at a movie theater at about 6:00 p.m., deputies say.

K-9s searched for him until 2:00 a.m. Sunday. Later that morning, a Code Red alert was issued for him.

At least 20 volunteers with Spartanburg County Search and Rescue and S.C. Search and Rescue Dog Association were looking for him as of 2:00 p.m. Sunday.

He was found at 3:12 p.m. Sunday at a convenience store on Mauldin Road.
