Moped driver hurt in Greenville hit-and-run

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) — Troopers say a moped driver was hurt in a hit-and-run in Greenville County.

The crash happened around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of S. Pleasantburg Drive.

Troopers say a moped driver was rear ended by a vehicle that left the scene.

The driver was in a dark vehicle, according to troopers. 

The victim was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, said Lance Cpl. Joe Hovis with S.C. Highway Patrol.
