Motorcyclist airlifted after crash on Clemson Blvd.


ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) Anderson County Dispatch says that Clemson Boulevard closed after a crash involving a motorcycle.

At least one person was hurt in the crash around 8:25 p.m. Thursday at 4606 Clemson Boulevard and Interstate Boulevard, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.

A pickup truck and motorcycle crashed in the intersection. The motorcycle driver has been airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital and troopers are investigating, crew at the scene tells us.

Traffic was backed up about a mile as of 9:20 p.m. while the road was blocked. Dispatch said that Clemson Boulevard had reopened by 9:41 p.m.
