Time to lace up your tennis shoes because today is National Walking Day.
It’s a day sponsored by the American Heart Association to remind everyone about the benefits of taking a walk.
Everyone is encouraged to take a 30-minute walk. Take a friend with you to make it more enjoyable.
Remember to wear comfortable clothes and don’t forget to stretch.
Be sure to drink plenty of water since it is getting warmer outside. If it’s raining, find creative ways to get your 30 minutes indoors. Maybe you have a treadmill in your home or a gym membership where you can walk.
