NC 8-year-old girl found safe; Amber Alert canceled

WESTFIELD, N.C. (WSPA) β€” An AMBER Alert has been canceled after a little girl who went missing was found in Kentucky, officials say.

The AMBER Alert was issued Sunday afternoon in North Carolina for a girl who officials say was abducted.

8-year-old Trinity Lakin McGraw went missing at about 3:00 p.m. Sunday, according to the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office.

Trinity is about 4 feet tall, weighs about 53 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a long nightgown with a watermelon design, officials say.

They say she was not wearing shoes or socks at the time of the abduction.

The abductor has been identified as 37-year-old Patrick Ryan McGraw.

He is about 6 feet tall, weighs about 220 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.

Officials say he has a cross tattoo on his left calf and a clock tattoo on his right shoulder that says “Trinity.”

The pair was last seen traveling north on Frans Road in Westfield, NC.

They were in a gray 2016 Ford Focus with a Georgia license plate of RDG2198.

Officials say they may be traveling to Kentucky.
