New photo released of suspect in Easley convenience store shooting death

EASLEY, SC (WSPA) – Easley Police Department officials released an additional photo of one of the suspects wanted for the shooting death of a employee of B Pam’s Food Mart on Friday.

In a Facebook post, police officials are asking for help in identifying the man pictured by his limited facial features shown through the orange ski mask.

We reported on Friday that Stacey Regina Childress, 49, was found dead behind the store counter at the convenience store.

The call about the incident at 201 NE Main St. came in at about 8:10 p.m. Friday.

An Easley Police Department detective said they were searching for two men in connection to the shooting.

The first man was described as 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, wearing a black hoodie and a white mask.

The second man was reportedly wearing an orange ski mask, a gray long-sleeved shirt and a jacket or pullover.

Officials said evidence shows Childress fired her gun at least twice, but they said it doesn’t appear that either suspect was hit.

The suspects left the scene in a silver Subaru Forester, similar to a 2014 to 2017 model.

Anyone with information is asked to call Easley Police Department at 864-859-4025.
