New survey finds frugality to be an attractive quality

Money is a topic on the minds of most Americans.

A new survey by Slickdeals finds that most Americans consider being frugal, or careful, with money is an attractive quality.

The survey shows things like buying off-brand food products or only having alcohol at home are perceived as frugal. However, 44% of people surveyed think re-gifting items or not leaving a tip is cheap.

Coupons are a great way to save money, and believe it or not, 79% of Americans find using coupons on a first date to be acceptable.

Additional data also found what people consider to be date “turn offs.” Poor hygiene, bad manners, and being on the phone were at the top of the list.
