No jackpot, but $100,000 Powerball ticket sold in Greer

COLUMBIA (WSPA) – No one in South Carolina won the $403 million Powerball jackpot Wednesday night, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t some big prize winners.

The South Carolina Education Lottery says someone bought a ticket worth $100,000 at a QuikTrip station on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer. Another ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Ladson.

A convenience store in Aiken sold a ticket worth $50,000. More than 47,000 players won prizes in South Carolina Wednesday night.

The jackpot winning ticket was purchased in Lafayette, Indiana. It was the tenth largest jackpot in Powerball history.
