ANDERSON, SC (WSPA) – The National Weather Service reports that despite multiple observations of a funnel cloud in Anderson Co. last night, there was no evidence of a tornado.
The isolated wind damage was caused by straight line winds near Sandy Springs.
The severe storms also blew down a concentrated area of trees from Townville through Northlake near Clemson Boulevard.
Widely scattered storms are possible Friday afternoon as a front continues to move out of the area, but severe storm chances are much lower.
