Spartanburg School District One is trying to clear up a threat made online against a school with the same initials.

The school district spokeswoman Sandra Williams says they have been made aware of a Snapchat post that is circulating online referencing a threat of violence to β€˜CHS’

“Local law enforcement investigated the posting and determined that it was referring to Clovis High School located in New Mexico and that the student responsible for the threat has been arrested. We want to assure our parents, students, and community that there is no threat to Chapman High School. Only by working together as a school community in partnership with parents can we create and maintain the level of safety that we want for our children and we appreciate the support and responsiveness received from our community,” says Williams.
