Oyster roast to raise funds for neglected & abused Upstate children

PICKENS Co., S.C. (WSPA) — Friends of Pickens County Guardian ad Litem invites the community to the Cluster for Kids Oyster Roast.

The fifth annual event is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at Arran Farm in Easley. 

Organizer Tami Aiken says proceeds from the event benefit the organization which provides financial assistance for neglected and abused children and the Guardian ad Litem program in Pickens County. 

The organization say its goal is to ensure all children receive love, care and necessities to have a safe and healthy childhood.

The upcoming event includes oysters and dinner buffet, live auction, music and more. Beer and wine are included with the oyster roast. 

Tickets are $50 per person in advance or $90 per couple.

Individual tickets are $75 at the door.
