SPARTANBURG (WSPA) – The Carolina Panthers are officially in Spartanburg.
The team moved in Wednesday morning, and is ready for the first day of practice tomorrow.
Fans are also getting ready for kick off party tomorrow.
There have been some improvements at Wofford to make sure fans get the best viewing experience possible.
The Panthers aren’t the only ones who’ve been putting in work in the off-season.
At Wofford College, the grounds crew has worked to make this training camp experience even better than before.
Starting with the autograph line.
There is a new paved sidewalk for fans to stand on to get up close and personal with their favorite players.
One of the biggest concerns was parking for the thousands of fans expected each day.
The main parking lot, is now the construction site for the indoor basketball arena.
Instead, the parking spaces that used to be there are now across the street from Gibbs Stadium. There’s also free shuttles for fans from parking lots off campus.
The kickoff party starts tomorrow at 4 p.m. before the official first practice at 6:30 p.m.
