Pedestrian hit by 2 cars dies in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – A Greenville man died after he was hit by two separate cars while crossing the street.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said the crash happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Grady Anthony Trapp, 29, was hit by two vehicles as crossed the street at the intersection of Augusta Road and North Estate Drive, according to the coroner’s office.

Both vehicles reportedly stopped after the accident.

Trapp was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on Wednesday morning. 

The coroner’s office said Trapp died of blunt force trauma. His death has been ruled an accident. 

The coroner’s office and the S.C. Highway Patrol are investigating.
