Pedestrian hit in intersection in downtown Greenville, police say

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Greenville Police Department officials said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police spokesperson Donnie Porter, the pedestrian was hit at the intersection of West McBee Avenue and South Academy Street.

The pedestrian was then taken to an area hospital for evaluation.

The crash is under investigation at this time.
