Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run in Oconee Co., driver sought


OCONEE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – South Carolina Highway Patrol officials said troopers are investigating a hit-and-run crash, where a pedestrian was hit and was seriously injured on Saturday afternoon in Oconee County.

According to a highway patrol flyer, the crash happened around 1 p.m. on Secondary 106 (Clearmont Road) near Secondary 657 (Holcombe Street).

Highway Patrol said the suspect vehicle was described to be a black 1996-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The vehicle reportedly could have damage to the passenger side and mirror.
