Pedestrian struck, killed on West Blue Ridge Dr. in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday morning in Greenville County.

The crash happened around 6:00 a.m. on West Blue Ridge Drive near Emile Street, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Troopers said a pedestrian was in the road when they were hit by a car driving southbound on West Blue Ridge Drive.

The pedestrian died at the scene of the crash.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 52-year-old Raymond Lamar Roberson.

The driver of the car was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
