Person robbed at knife-point for pain meds in Henderson Co.

Two people have been accused of robbing a person’s pain medication with a knife according to Henderson Co. Deputies.

The sheriff’s office were responded to a robbery call at a home on Asheville Highway near Clayton Homes on Jan. 26.

They were able to get a vehicle description, the possible names of the suspects and which way they went.

Henderson and Buncombe deputies went to a home on Shelba Dr. in Candler and arrested 51-year-old Marelene Allen and 61-year-old James Allen.

Marlene is charged with one felony count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon

James is charged with one felony count of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Both are being held at the Henderson Co. Detention Facility.
