Platinum Plus building owners ask court to allow new tenant

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – The owners of the building formerly occupied by Platinum Plus have asked a Greenville County court to allow them to show the building to a new tenant.

Frontage Road Associates says Elephant Inc, the company that ran Platinum Plus, has abandoned the property and is not currently paying rent required to lease the building.READ: Full court motion from owners

The company says the new tenant, Greenville Bistro, LLC, needs access to the building on Frontage Road to see if it is suitable for their need and what modifications need to be made to the building.

In a July court order, the operators of Platinum Plus were barred from operating the business for 180 days. The court also ordered that during that time, nobody would have access to the property other than for routine or emergency maintenance without written approval from the Solicitor’s Office or the court.

Since the operators of Platinum Plus are no longer paying for or using the building, the building’s owners are asking the court to drop the nuisance order on the property.
