UNION Co., SC (WSPA) – Four people have been arrested after an undercover drug operation in Union Co., according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies say they were staking out a hotel and waiting for someone to deliver a large amount of narcotics to an undercover officer.
They say the deal was set up at the Roadway Inn on South Duncan Bypass.
When the suspect vehicle got there, officers tried to stop it, but the vehicle drover around them and turned right.
They chased the vehicle on North Duncan toward Union and an officer got in front of it to try to slow it down.
The suspect made a U-turn in the middle of the road and turned in to the Nixon Center and went behind the buildings.
The driver jumped out an ran into the woods.
A woman in the passenger seat was detained.
K-9s were brought in to track the driver, but they didn’t find him. Deputies have not yet said who the driver is.
Deputies say they found drugs in the vehicle and the wood line.
They found a large quantity of powder substance they believe is cocaine.
They found 36 ecstasy pills and marijuana in the woman’s purse, according to the report.
Deputies also seized $782 dollars.
Tamara Lakissa Dockins, 32, is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Ecstasy and Possession of Marijuana.
Dezmond Tobias Tucker, 23, is charged with Possession of 1oz. or less of marijuana or 10g of has – 1st offense.
Samuel Alexander Suber, 17, is charged with Distribute, Seel, Manufacture, or Possession with Intent of Controlled Substance near school.; Possession of other substance in schedule 1I, II, III or flunitrazepam or analogue with intent to distribute and trespassing.
Colin William Tucker, 17, is charged with Drugs, Distribute, Sell Manufacture and Drugs / Manufacture Possession of other. He was released on a $5000 surety bond.
