DUNCAN, S.C. (WSPA) — The town of Duncan has a four-legged visitor making the rounds.

Duncan police said in a Facebook post on Wednesday that a cow was spotted near Sims Tire and Muffler. The auto repair shop is on Gap Creek Road. Folks in that area are urged to be careful as police try to round up the visiting bovine.

“He, apparently, is nocturnal (probably due to the heat) because no one has reported seeing him during daylight hours. If you know who owns this beast, let us know,” police said in the post.

The nightly visitor remains at large.

Police say he trotted into the woods on Tuesday night.
