President signs emergency declaration for SC

The President signed an emergency declaration for South Carolina, Thursday, ordering federal aid for Hurricane Matthew.

President Obama’s declaration authorizes the FEMA to coordinate disaster relief efforts in the state.

South Carolina has been under a state of emergency since Tuesday while North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory issued a state of emergency for the entire state Thursday afternoon.
