Public can share ideas for children’s park in Greer

GREER, S.C. (WSPA) — After 20 years of use, Century Park will soon feature a new playground.

A community workshop will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 at the Events Center at Greer City Hall.

Residents are encouraged to visit and share ideas for the Kids Planet Playground.

“This input session will build upon the design ideas gathered from students at six participating elementary schools. The goal of this meeting for us is to listen and learn,” Alta Planning + Design’s Calin Owens said in a statement.

For more information, call the city’s Parks and Recreation Department at 864-848-2190.
