Leaders in the City of Greenville are looking to make improvements on the popular Wade Hampton Boulevard.

The U.S. Highway connects Greenville and Spartanburg along with many neighborhoods and suburbs to each city.

Tonight at a public hearing during a Planning Commission meeting, Tracy D. Ramseur, Senior Economic Development Project said there will be a presentation and outlining of the main points of the strategic plan and a time for public comment.

The comment portion is something patrons will need to sign up beforehand to participate in per usual.

She said city leaders have heard from business owners and neighbors over several months.

They say traffic during peak hours and patrons not having a lot of room for biking and walking are concerns they hear often.

The meeting is tonight at 4 at City Hall and if plans are recommended for adoption, they would move to be considered by city council.
