The Clemson Insider website reports that former Tigers basketball player Rod Hall will play a season of college football at Northern Iowa, an FCS member that’s been a power on that level in recent seasons.

The Panthers were 9-5 this past season.

Hall drew interest from NFL scouts this past spring after concluding his basketball career.

As a senior he averaged 9.2 points per game and shot 40 per cent from the field.

He was a stand-out football player in high school as a wide receiver and defensive back.
