ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA) – Asheville Police Department officials said residents have found flyers near their home that are attributed to the Ku Klux Klan.
According to a police department news release, officers responded to two reports of residents finding KKK flyers near their homes, one in west and one in Montford.
Police officials said officers were continue to monitor for similar signs and said the incident is under investigation.
“We recognize and are taking seriously the fact that what is written on the document is concerning and causes great concern to our citizens, and we encourage anyone that has information on the source of the flyers to contact us or Crimestoppers.”
