Republican incumbent Ralph Norman wins 5th Congressional District seat

(WSPA) – There were three candidates vying to represent the 5th Congressional District in Congress.

Republican incumbent Ralph Norman won the seat, after taking on Democrat Archie Parnell and Constitution Party candidate Michael Chandler.

Norman previously beat Parnell during a special election in June of last year.

This district includes all of Cherokee, Chester, Fairfield, Kershaw, Landcaster, Lee, Union and York counties, as well as most of Sumter County, portions of Newberry and Spartanburg counties.
