SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA)– We know regular exercise is good for your health, but can it make you smarter?

Neuroscientists at Oregon Health and Science University studied mice and found a short burst of exercise boosts the part of the brain connected with learning and memory.

The study specifically measured the brains of sedentary mice.

The short term burst of exercise was comparable to about 4,000 steps for humans.
