Restaurant serves up unique burgers, helps some tackle their fears

A microbrewery in North Carolina is testing people’s limits through food. For some people, it’s even helping them tackle their fears

Kristin Barnaby is afraid of spiders, but she’s found a way to overcome that.

The Bull City Burger and Brewery in Durham is serving up a unique hamburger topped with a fully grown, oven-roasted tarantula.

This is part of the restaurant’s exotic meat month. Over the past few years, the restaurant has featured meats like alligator, python, and even insects.

Not everyone can try the tarantula burger. The restaurant owner only buys a select amount, so diners have to fill out a lottery ticket and if your name gets picked, you get to eat one.

So what’s the tarantula burger taste like? Barnaby says it tasted like potato chips.
