GAFFNEY, SC (WSPA) – Gaffney Police Department officials said a cash reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person, or people, responsible for the murder of a Gaffney man.

We reported earlier that Randy O’Neal Simpson, 37, was shot and killed on Fort Street back in July.

Police found Simpson lying on Fort Street around 9:20 p.m. after responding to reports of gunshots.

The coroner said at the time that it appeared Simpson was gunned down as he was headed home to his apartment, which was just a block from where he was shot.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Det. Capt. Ron Ramsey at 864-206-3320.
