(WSPA) — Here’s a look at some Upstate events happening the weekend of June 9 and 10.
Dance the night away at Salsa at Sunset. It’s happening Saturday night at the Graham Plaza, right in front of the Peace Center. The outdoor event kicks off at 6 PM but at 7 PM the band fires up and a group dance lesson begins. The live Latin band will continue until 10 PM. They’ll have a cash bar with beer and wine. The Upstate Shakespeare Festival continues at Falls Park. The Warehouse Theatre puts on a show Thursdays through Sundays at 7 PM and they’re free. A Winter’s Tale lasts until June 17th. Then check out The Taming of a Shrew from July 5th to July 29th.
Play corn hole and drink beer for a good cause. Birds Fly South Brewery is hosting a corn hole tournament on Sunday from 2 PM until 5 PM. The event is helping a team of people from Greenville who are traveling to Africa to build a school in Malawi . The money raised at this event will help them buy tools and building supplies. Registration costs $10.
